Dental Hygienist

Doug is an advocate for individual overall well-being.  He helps patients connect the dots between oral and systemic health to drive home the value of both.

A local graduate, Doug achieved his Assoicates of Science in Dental Hygiene from the School of Health Professions at the Community College of Baltimore County. During his time at CCBC, he served as Class Representative for the Student American Dental Hygienists' Association and obtained recognition in the state of Maryland to administer local anesthesia & nitrous oxide.  With an aim for always expanding his scope of practice, Most recently, Doug has completed the first continuing education program in the history of state of Maryland to administer, dispense, and prescribe medications as a registered dental hygienist, and is now licensed to prescribe.

Doug strives to make the patient experience an easygoing one.  Communicating the what and why for dental needs, and basing his clinical skills around patient comfort.  He is passionate about being able to make a difference  in his community and carries that same approach with him daily.

Outside of the office he enjoys spending time with his two boys and his wonderful wife.  When she kicks him out of the house he makes the most of the great outdoors with hobbies like fishing, exercising, and playing softball.
